Terms & Conditions

Tax & Revenue collection

We ship chocolates, Coloured Cocoa Butters & Lustre dusts to many countries around the world, each country has its own laws & regulations on how it collects Tax or Customs revenue.

Its Customer’s responsibility to pay any customs duties of the product in your country.

EU tax’s

Sosase Chocolate Ltd, operates from the United Kingdom, we are outside of the EU. Therefore any orders sent to the EU, may or will incur import tax before delivery can be made. These taxes will be collected locally and has nothing to do with SoSaSe Chocolat® or i Shud KoKo®

 It is the Customer’s responsibility to pay any customs duties of the product in your country.

Ordering

All order placed via the website will be processed as soon as possible. During busy periods there may be delays in collection from our third party courier. If the delay is significant, we will inform you by email of any expected delays.

Tracking

Once your order is complete. Our Courier will produce a Tracking code. This code is then entered into our website for your order, our website (SquareSpace) then sends you an automated email with the tracking code that your order is complete. if you do not get your tracking code by email, please contact us using the email address in the contact info area and we will forward you the tracking number for your order. please take a moment to check the ‘spam folder’ for any emails before emailing us directly. We do not check any individual tracking codes for any orders once it has left our establishment. if you have not received your order, please email us and and we will contact our third party courier and make an enquiry.

Overseas Tracking

Orders & Parcels occasionally go missing. there can be numerous reasons for this and please understand that it is out of our control. We will try to make inquiries and find a suitable solution. We use Parcel force Worldwide for all our international orders, they in turn use third party couriers or delivery partners at the final country destination, we do not always get given the tracking code by the partner courier.

Shipping / Postage

We post to all areas of the United Kingdom & Internationally via Parcel Force Worldwide; Shipping is calculated at checkout.

We are not responsible for any mishandling, loss or damage to your package once it has left our premises. We take every precaution to ensure your orders are protected against the postal journey. During hot weather we may delay postage or dispatch until the temperatures are suitable to make a delivery. Please understand that the very nature of our products make them temperature sensitive. We are not responsible for any rise in temperature that may cause melting or damage whilst in transit with our third-party courier.

Delivery Address

It is your responsibility to ensure you write the correct delivery address for us to send your package, we cannot be held responsible for any errors made. if you have used the wrong address (normally an Auto fill error). We can or will only reimburse or refund once the product is returned back to us in a fair or decent condition. if the goods are not returned to us because of an address error by the customer, we will not refund the order value. if the product does return to use in a fair condition, we can arrange to re-send at your cost of additional shipping or refund you less the amount of shipping costs. we reserve the right to take the decision and it will be final.

We use a third-party couriers, we cannot be held responsible for delays or if you require a package delivered by a certain date. If you require a “signed for” package, you must ensure that there is someone present to accept the package or use an address of a family member or neighbours who can sign for it on your behalf. We are not responsible for delays by the third-party courier during busy periods i.e., ‘Christmas, Valentines, Easter. and ask that you wait a further 7 days before contacting us.

Once your order has been despatched, you will receive by email, a proof of postage code, this is for your records & our records to show proof of postage by us. We can not enter into any discussion or dispute about late delivery until 14 working days has elapsed from the date of postal. We will then undertake an investigation and make attempts to resolve the dispute or delay with the courier. .

Refunds & Returns policy

Due to the nature of the product and that as it is classed as perishable, we are not able to accept returns or unwanted items, or items ordered in error. If you are not entirely happy with your order, please contact us in the first instance. We may require that the goods are returned to us for inspection before we consider a refund or replacement. Refunds & replacement are offered entirely at our discretion, and we reserve the right to issue them in any way we deem appropriate.

REFUNDS & REFUNDED PAYMENTS

Please be aware

we will only refund payments to the original card issuer. i.e. if you paid with one particular card, we will only refund back to that card or card processor. We cannot and will not refund to a different card as this would be considered ‘money laundering’.

Live Classes & Group Mini Masterclasses

Links are sent out prior to each classs schedule, it is your responsibility to attend the class you have booked. The Live Classes are NOT recorded by us. We do not allow recordings of the classes without our expressed permission which should be gained before the class starts. If you cannot attend the class you have booked no refund will be awarded, however, we will consider an alternative date or class as we deem appropriate.

If you leave the class for any reason once the class has started we will not refund nor offer an alternative.

 Payment for goods

We will not post out or complete any product orders until they have been paid for in full. At the point they are delivered to you, you are deemed the owner of the product.

Email conduct or Agressive emails

We do understand the frustrations & pressure of being in business especially with these economic difficulties we all face at the current time. however, we will not accept threatening emails, harassment or any kind of aggressive emails aimed at us personally or our staff that make personal comments. we will not enter into any correspondence with such matters.

Ownership of goods SoSaSe Chocolat® or i Shud KoKo®

You cannot sell them or offer them for re-sale or offer them for sale either as SoSaSe Chocolat or i Shud KoKo® or as product or as your own “white label product” without our express consent or unless we have a prior agreement in place.
